Rendition E36 Interior Parts Are Now in Australia
If you own a BMW E36, you already know the interior is where the age shows first: the cup holder that snapped years ago, the pillar trim that won’t stay clipped in, a dash with nowhere to charge a phone. EuroSpec is now the first Australian and New Zealand stockist of Rendition Design & Manufacturing, and their E36 interior parts are in stock on the Gold Coast and ready to ship.
Who is Rendition?
Rendition is a design and manufacturing house in Taiwan that builds interior restoration and OEM+ parts for older BMWs: the E30, E36, E46 and E9x generation, plus a few other classics. Their approach is what makes them worth stocking:
- Designed from 3D-scanned factory parts. Parts are shaped around scans of the original interior, so they sit where BMW’s own parts sat and look like they belong there.
- Factory mounting points. The cup holders and USB modules use the original mounting locations. No cutting the console and no drilling the dash.
- Refined by owners. Rendition say their E36 front cup holder has passed 2,500 units worldwide, and their pillar trim repair kit has been used by more than 1,000 E36 owners. Each version is revised from real owner feedback, which is why you’ll see V5, V6 and V7 in the names.
Why we’re bringing Rendition to Australia
The E36 is now 25 to 30 years old, and more owners are restoring them properly instead of just driving them into the ground. Searches for E36 parts in Australia have climbed sharply over the past year. Engine and suspension parts are easy enough to find locally. E36 interior parts are not. Until now, fixing a broken cup holder or a sagging pillar trim meant ordering from overseas, waiting weeks on freight, and often paying more in shipping than the part cost.
Holding Rendition stock here fixes that. You order from an Australian business, it ships from the Gold Coast in 1–2 business days, and if anything’s wrong you deal with us.

A note on the pillar trim repair kit
When an E36 pillar trim falls off, the trim itself is usually fine. It’s the brittle plastic mounting tabs behind it that have snapped. Rendition’s kit replaces those tabs with coded, 3D-scanned pieces that bond to your original trim and clip back onto the factory metal clips. It’s the right fix when the trim is in good condition and only the mounting points have failed. Sedan and Coupe kits are shaped differently and aren’t interchangeable.

Choosing between the front cup holders
The V6 MAX suits most cars. If you drive a manual and find a cup in the front position gets in the way of the gear lever, the reversed holder moves the cups rearward and puts the storage up front. Both use the factory console mounting point, and both take the optional XL adaptor if you drink from a bigger bottle.
Warranty and support
Every Rendition part carries Rendition’s 6-month limited warranty from delivery, covering manufacturing and material defects and incorrect fitment for the stated application. Because you buy from EuroSpec, you deal with us in Australia, not an overseas support inbox. If you’re unsure about fitment for your body style or door bin size, message us before you order and we’ll confirm it.
What’s next
We’re treating this first shipment as a test of Australian demand. If it moves, we’ll expand the range. Rendition also make an E36 phone mount, triple gauge kit, OBC delete panel, glovebox trim and door card repair kit, plus parts for the E30, E46 and E9x. If there’s something from their range you want now, ask us and we can order it in.
Building an E36 beyond the interior? We also carry the KW coilover kit for the E36 M3, the Link BMWLink E36X plug-in ECU and our own E36 body kit. Browse everything for the chassis in the E36 range.
FAQ
Will the Rendition front cup holder fit an E36 Compact?
No. The V6 MAX and the reversed holder are made for the standard E36 console. The Compact (Ti) has its own console, and Rendition make a separate cup holder for it that we can order in.
Do I need to cut or drill anything to fit these parts?
No. The cup holders and USB modules use factory mounting points and are fully reversible. The pillar trim kit bonds new tabs to your original trims with a strong adhesive (two-part epoxy is recommended), which is the repair itself.
Which door bin cup holder size do I need?
Door bin thickness changes between models, so select your chassis when ordering. We stock E30 (8 mm), E36 (8 mm), E46 2-door (13 mm), E46 4-door (10 mm), E90 (12.5 mm), F30 (17 mm) and F80 (17 mm). Other BMW sizes, including the E34, E39, E60, E8x and F10, can be ordered in.
How fast do Rendition parts ship from EuroSpec?
Stocked parts ship from the Gold Coast in 1–2 business days. Parts we order in from Rendition take longer, because they come from Taiwan first. We’ll give you a lead time before you pay.
Is the rear cup holder suitable for every E36?
Only cars with the rear centre armrest. It replaces the rear ashtray in the armrest console, so check yours before ordering.
