BMW E36 A, B & C Pillar Trim Repair Kit

If the A, B or C pillar trims in your E36 are sagging or falling off, the trim itself is usually fine — it’s the brittle plastic mounting tabs behind it that have snapped. This E36 pillar trim repair kit fixes the actual failure. It is a set of replacement glue-on mounting tabs that restore the factory mounting points on your original pillar trims, so they clip back onto the factory metal clips and sit where BMW put them.

This kit does not include trim panels. You keep your existing A, B and C pillar trims and bond the new tabs to the back of them — no more super-glue blobs or silicone.

• Every tab is 3D-scanned, shaped for its exact position and coded for identification (right side RA, RB, RC, RD…; left side mirrored)

Choose your body style

• Sedan (4-door) — Rendition part E36-ABC-FIX-4D
• Coupe (2-door) — Rendition part E36-ABC-FIX-2D

The Sedan and Coupe kits are not interchangeable — the pillar shapes differ. Rendition list this combo for the E36 Sedan and Coupe only.

Is it right for your trims?

• Yes — original trims in otherwise good condition where only the mounting tabs have failed
• No — panels that are heavily damaged or warped

Installation

1. Remove the trim and identify which section you’re repairing (A, B or C).
2. Match each new tab to its position using the code on the tab.
3. Cut away any loose or hanging remains of the original tab.
4. Dry-fit the new tab, using its built-in crease and the remains of the old tab as a guide.
5. Apply adhesive to the back of the tab, press it into place and hold it in alignment.
6. Let the adhesive fully cure before refitting the trim.

Adhesive not included. Rendition use two-part (AB) epoxy, Gorilla Glue or Loctite 480.

• Install: DIY — the tabs bond to your trim; nothing on the car is cut or drilled. Allow full adhesive cure before refitting.
• Warranty: 6 months from delivery against manufacturing and material defects (Rendition’s limited warranty). Excludes normal wear and tear, incorrect installation or wiring, and misuse. For any warranty issue, contact EuroSpec with your order number and photos.
