The B58 downpipe upgrade every serious build starts with.
Direct OEM-fit catless downpipe for the BMW B58, Gen 1 and Gen 2 (F and G series). Taking out the factory catalytic converter drops back-pressure behind the turbo — faster spool, sharper throttle response, more mid-range torque and a harder exhaust note.
Why it’s built this way
- 304 stainless, hand TIG-welded — won’t rust, no coatings to flake.
- CNC-machined billet flanges — a leak-free seal at the turbo and the cat-back.
- Mandrel-bent, 4.5″ from the turbo side down, stepping to a 3″ outlet — full diameter through every bend.
- Braided flex section — takes up engine movement so the welds don’t crack.
- Factory O2 sensor bungs — your sensors plug straight in.
- Direct OEM fit — bolts to the factory or an aftermarket cat-back. No cutting.

- Tune: built for a Stage 2 map (MHD, bootmod3 or Ecutek) — expect +25–35hp at the wheels.
- Install: professional install required, about 2 hours on a hoist. Supporting modifications required.
