An external wastegate takes exhaust gas around the turbine wheel so boost stays where you set it, instead of climbing with RPM. Turbosmart’s GenV platform uses a locking collar for one-piece assembly, a machined billet body and interchangeable springs, so pressure can be re-targeted without buying another gate. This is the boost-control hardware for anything running a manifold with a gate flange.
