This is the E36 cup holder for manual cars. In the usual layout, a front cup holder puts your drink right in the path of your shifting hand. Rendition’s reversed layout moves the cups behind and the storage tray up front, so drinks stay clear of the shifter and the tray stays within reach.
It uses the same 3D-scanned console fit as Rendition’s E36 front cup holder — which they say has more than 2,500 units in use worldwide — and keeps the original console proportions. Installation uses the factory mounting point: remove the OEM ashtray insert and secure the holder with the original ashtray screw. No cutting, no drilling, no permanent changes, and about two minutes to fit.
Designed and manufactured by Rendition Design & Manufacturing in Taiwan. EuroSpec holds Australian stock on the Gold Coast.
Options
- MT Cupholder (Rendition part E36-FC-MT-NE): the reversed cup holder, supplied without an emblem. Standard 68 mm cup positions suit most water bottles and coffee cups.
- XL Cup Adaptor (add-on only) (Rendition part E36-FC-MT-XL): an add-on for the reversed cup holder — it is not a cup holder and does not include one. It drops in without tools and takes containers up to 90 mm in diameter. Fit varies by container, so check the diameter of yours before ordering. Add it alongside the MT Cupholder, or on its own if you already run the reversed holder.
